Personal note: I was a little 12 years old boy when I hear for the first time this album, -and discovered Petra at the same time; I was in a Church Picnic and from nowhere the tune of "I love the Lord" sounds in the air just like drums and, I remember, run to my father and scream: What's that sound? What's that music? He doesn’t know, but he took me and we walk to the source of the sound: a very old cassette recorder. One man was selling Christian cassettes and, in that moment, "King of Kings" explote from the device. My father took the tape and read the track list. He says "Hey, I know a lot of these songs". He buys the cassette and gives to me. The image of this desert and five mans over a stone in the cover blow my mind. And today, this album still is a bless and a personal commitment source. I can't remember how many times I cry listening this album, feeling God's presence. I hope my son one day personally meet God, the only behind this band.

Nota personal: Yo no era más que un muchachito de 12 años cuando escuche por primera vez este álbum -y descubrí a Petra al mismo tiempo; Yo estaba en un día de campo organizado por la iglesia y de la nada apareció la tonada de "I love the Lord" sonando como un tambor en el aire. Recuerdo haber corrido hacía mi padre y haberle preguntado "¿Qué es ese sonido? ¿Qué es esa música?" Él no sabía pero me tomó de la mano y fuimos juntos hacía la fuente de aquel sonido: una vieja reproductora de cassettes. Un hombre estaba vendiendo cassettes cristianos y en ese momento "Rey the Reyes" (King of Kings) estallaba desde el aparato. Mi padre tomó el cassette y leyó el contenido del mismo. Dijo: "Hey, yo conozco varias de estas". Lo pagó y me lo dio. La imagen de aquel desierto y aquellos cinco hombres sobre una roca en la portada hizo estallar mi mente. Y hasta hoy, este álbum sigue siendo una bendición y fuente de compromiso personal. No puedo recordar siquiera cuántas ocasiones llore escuchando estas canciones sintiendo la presencia de Dios conmigo. Tengo al esperanza que ahora, mi hijo un día conozca personalmente a Dios, quien esta detrás de esta banda.
